What I loved about the article was at the very bottom "Mark Smith travelled independently". It's great to see someone traveling for the passion of it, not to generate clicks.

I wonder if federally mandated safety equipment (backup camera, collision avoidance) is included or if those requirements haven't taken effect yet?

Can anyone comment on the stability of cargo bikes? I'd think they'd be pretty decent (long wheel-base, lower center of gravity), but how about when turning?
