I moved at the beginning of February and reported my new address to MTO w/in 6 days like ur supposed. I can't register to cast my vote for the Liberal leader election because they have my old address listed and would require my ID to have my CURRENT. I have no ID with my current bc MTO IS SLOW.

Has anyone else noticed how bad chain restaurants have fallen off? Took my bf to Red Lobster recently... not going back. We went to the Keg for a bday... beans we under cooked and mashed potatoes are mid.

My bf and I are making a list of family owned places in our area to try. Cuz wtf chains.

Working at a nursing home is nuts, not because of residents or staffing issues etc. But I get my news in the most unhinged pieces ever. I walked into a room today and heard about someone stowing away on a flight.

Another time, I found out Queen Elizabeth died while putting someones sock on.

What are people's thoughts about how to help combat book bans?

My idea: create a spreadsheet with commonly banned books and put links to where people can get digital copies in a column beside the titles.

I'm Canadian and can't think of many ways to keep vital books available.

My 50 yr old mom saw a Cybertruck for the first time while she was on the phone with me, and goes, "WHAT THE F**K IS THAT?". Safe to say she is not a fan.

Before anyone asks... this one was actually driving. However, it was raining, so that might not have lasted long.

Shop local if it's within budget!! For those needing budget Xmas gift, don't be afraid to check sites like Kijiji and Facebook Marketplace. I've got some lovely gifts for my family from local crafters.
Reminder that your favorite local indie bookstores make a lot of their yearly income during the holiday season.

Go shop local today. ❤️

I just want to afford to live and for the people in green chairs to stop making legislation against medical procedures. Enforce medical privacy. Make bills forbidding government from legislating choices that should be doctor/patient confidential.
Bootlicking for Billionaires.

When Conservatives scoff at working class Canadians – saying they’ll vote against a GST Tax Holiday.
,
Don't forget - they're the same ones who voted to slash corporate taxes for multi-billion-dollar corporations by 7% — costing Canadians $60 billion dollars.

Conservative party leader voted against the @ndp.ca temporary cuts to GST/HST all while screaming "AXE THE TAX".

Don't listen to what is said. Watch what actually gets done. Watch who's making change

WE GOT IT DONE!

If you're reading this in the morning.

It's 11:23pm & we just secured a GST Tax Break!

For 2 months there’ll be no GST/HST on kid's clothes, diapers & other essentials.

Poilievre tried to block it — we defeated him.

For the record an NDP govt would make this a permanent tax cut

Pierre Poilievre just bragged to the media that he will vote against a GST Tax Holiday.

The mask is off.

Callous Conservatives joyfully vote to cut corporate taxes, but they scoff at help for middle-class Canadians.
