Turning a person's sweet tooth from a loveable character quirk into something far more insidious is just *chef's kiss*

And it's tempting to be on the side of the former when it comes to the lackluster heroes of late. Too many toothless Good Guys with too many convenient get-out-of-this-moral-quagmire plotlines just amplifies the frustrations we have with our politics.

So I do think there's certainly a use for Good Guys and Bad Guys, they definitely can be entertaining.

A tension that I think is particularly juicy is a Good Guy who is unflinching in their convictions, versus a Good Guy who is willing to compromise on their own beliefs.
