Agree. Didn’t vote Labour, never have, but this is all so fucking depressing. And wholly avoidable. They shat the bed. I had genuine hope, now nothing left but cynicism.

I have lurgy, likewise. Just had to drive up to Cambridge and back, sneezing the whole way and wishing I was in bed. Bleurgh.

Pretty much. The Factories Act did a lot of good, comparably, in the early 20th Century, but the H&S at Work Act in 1972 changed everything, and for the better.
