It's wild that Texas has two of the country's most inaccessible senators. Both Cornyn and Cruz's mailboxes are always full or just is... busy? They never have public town halls. People think red states deserve our pain, but the lack of representation and voter oppression are the real issues.

Look at how higher ed is bending the knee. I endorsed, pushed, and advocated for college and its wonders as an educator. This is how they betrayed us, and honestly, how they've always betrayed us as institutions. It's really all down to the staff, students, and communities to protect each other.

I never could keep a single copy of Amulet in my classroom library to read for myself. It was always checked out! Now I'm slowly going through the series to soothe myself in these trying times. It reminds me of all the excited faces of my students. Children we need to fight for. Book #2 done!
