This whole discourse around bodycams will inevitably be ridiculously dumb b/c Dems decided to make this cosmetic change one of the central planks of their demands - when they should have used the moment to specifically go after tens of billions Congress already appropriated for DHS/ICE.
Trump on body cams for DHS officers in Minnesota: "It wasn't my decision. I leave it to [Noem]. They generally tend to be good for law enforcement because people can't lie about what's happening. If she wants to do that I'm okay with it."
