Nice article.

Gaming has come a long way as a story-telling medium, that I don’t really consider it even remotely odd when I see it on an applicants hobbies section.

If only I had time to finish games in less than six months (looking at you, Rebirth)

I really do think having a bye week in the playoffs is a detriment.

Same thing happens in baseball.

No idea how Baltimore and Houston get Christmas Day games lol.

2016?!

I get triggered when things from last week end up in the progress note. Like no, not every lab from last week was relevant

I had one.

I have played through Final Fantasy VII more times than I count and still have my black label copy.

Ten Commandments came out in 1956.

Terminator 2 came out in 1991.

35 years apart…

The next step in the timeline happens in 2026… 📽️

Briefly stopping an encounter to discuss respect is never out of the question. I’ve done it plenty of times.

No one on the team, whether it’s me, the intern, or the nurse, went through their training to be demeaned and treated poorly.

I’ve said this to new trainees countless times.

I guess it depends on how you value the experience.

Wife and I usually cost about 40-45 dollars when we go, and that includes tickets plus a drink/popcorn.

When you figure that the average cost of dining out for two is probably higher than that, it’s really not a terrible investment.
