I love that herbs turn into aggressive weeds in the garden if you turn your back on them. It's like they're saying "We are more than garnishment, bitch! Nobody puts oregano in the corner."

This is a great trilogy for fans of Firefly, if you ever wanted to spend more time on one of those frontier planets.
I just started reading Wrestling Demons by Jason Brick (a little behind for our bookclub but that's in character for me). The novel gets into it immediately - gripping and fun!
