Any solution that's not addressing one or more of those categories probably is not going to move the needle much.

Fixing the housing crisis is simple but hard (different from complicated but easy once you figure it out):
- Drive down the prices of materials. (More lumber production, etc.)
- Improve the supply of laborers in the industry (roofers, plumbers, electricians)
- Remove permitting barriers

Seeing these in the wild is like seeing a ghost. Always surprised they're still flying, given how long the stretches are between spotters photographing one (at least on airliners.net)

You agree on a new countersign every mission when doing operational stuff. This is just a goof for a training exercise.

Other countries use Omega/Metrea, but it seems like they use them much less than the US.

They could at least pick a mode and finalize the EIR, and slow-walk the rest until funding is possible again. Would be better than a total death.

Military is a whole different ballgame, but there's been no discussion of cutting uniformed services head count.

So it's outside the discussion compared to FERS.

Government employee benefits total about 40% of salary, especially because FERS (pension system) is now funded mostly by a 4.4% salary deduction, not as an additional benefit.

A private sector billing rate is typically 3-4x that employee's hourly rate.

It's not a real offer, unless Congress puts a financial law signed by both houses in front of Trump, and he signs it.

They have to leverage! They're a giant country, and can only make glacial progress after losing droves of young men in the prime of their life.

Delusional!

The mission is incredible, but I wish the photos didn't come out looking like a rendering. It makes the whole thing feel like it didn't actually happen!
