This is the core of The Emperor Has No Clothes. It's a forever truth. But it takes absolute innocence -- or courage.
This nation would be a better place if just one White House reporter had the courage to ask "what the hell are you rambling about, old man?"

It's really not hard. When the GOP wants to make Trump the frontman for everything that's bad for a country, it's fairly straightforward to respect that choice and loudly declare disagreement. Just saying he's wrong and here's a better alternative -- on repeat -- works. Mamdani did it with a smile.
Trump's consolidation of authoritarian power is inseparable from the economic carnage he's unleashed. Tariffs, DOGE bloodbath, federal worker firings, killing of NY-NJ tunnel etc are *abuses of power* that *also* hurt the economy. Dems can say both these things. 4/

Incredibly funny to watch the right wing going Oh so just because I love money and hate poor people I'm a bad Christian according to "the pope"???

Love the headline. Could include "kicking and screaming." Come on, Dems. Be a people's party. The people are ready.
Cuomo, the man who resigned in disgrace after a state attorney general’s report found that he had sexually harassed nearly a dozen women, was asked if he had any regrets.

He said he regretted not being better at social media.
Zohran Mamdani drags the Democratic Party into the future
This was a local race with national implications, whether the party's leaders liked it or not.

I grew up in the pocket of the evangelical GOP political movement. We called ourselves underdogs and this is exactly what we were raised to do. Our group relentlessly pushed its narrative until the narrative became viable. It was willpower that became truth to millions, and it can be reversed.
"normies do not care about this thing and so it is no use raising a stink" is imho just an excuse for not doing politics, which is the job of making normies care about something

The irony of this is that making homemade sourdough bread is a serious pillar of the tradwife culture that pushes far-right in the usa proving once again that there is no harmony to "anti-woke" movements excepting "in my ignorance and shallow taste, I don't like it"
🚨BREAKING:

Bread is now woke, according to Alex Phillips

OK, first (re)post. Because this hits 100.
We need to teach people the difference between being uncomfortable and being unsafe. Because the discomfort of the safest people is endangering the most vulnerable, all day every day.
