I play cool records and ride old bikes in Denver.

I’m here to talk tunes and boost friends.
#vintagebikes seem to just come into my life. This week it was a 1989 #Miyata 618GT, a beautiful steel touring rig that says “let’s run away and ride across the planet”. It was filthy from long storage but clearly had been loved by the previous owner.

Everything that’s wrong with society can be traced back to the decline in popularity of point-and-click adventure games. None of this would be happening if there was a AAA King’s Quest game every five years

It’s been a minute! I’ll be in the radio studio and broadcasting live in 2 hours on @kgnu.bsky.social Community Radio - 12am mountain, 11pm pacific until late, very late. A psychedelic pastiche of jazz and electronic unclassifiables is bubbling over.

I wanted to create video assets for a friend’s art project and realized I didn’t have access to Adobe, Avid or FCP anymore. I am blown away by how good the free DaVinci Resolve suite is. Fusion’s node-based motion gfx workflow is cool, too.

In college 30 years ago I had a job calling engineering school alumni for donations. They often wanted to talk and a surprising number had pivoted mid-career and become cabinet makers.
The older I get, the more gratification I find in *physical* engineering and crafting. Writing code is super fun, but there is something really great about accomplishments in physical space.

A disco jam that rarely leaves my crate. Dug the 12” out of a dusty crate in a thrift shop back room in San Juan, PR.

War "Galaxy" (1978)

Over such a long and illustrious career the band has had many major pop chart hits, this one arguably being their most successful club track. It arrived at just the right time, and took us all into outer space! Lethal #disco #funk

This is my new book, published this fall. While META is shadow banning abortion info and provider pages, this little book has all the links and resources listed and explained. Who can help me get this book passed around, to the people who need it the most? Www.itsyourbody.net
