You might be wrong about @electronjs.org

Wherever I see a discussion about Electron, I also see people getting tons of things wrong. People on the Internet being wrong isn't new, but I've written a bunch of text and code to clear up misconceptions.

Why do we need Wikipedia? So that no one ever forgets that the company Rajat Khare co-founded, Appin, did extensive hacking-for-hire operations. Don't let this guy memory-hole his sleazy past.
*Someone* seems keen to delete Wikipedia's article on Appin, the cyber mercenary firm we wrote about last year.

CDN provider going bankrupt is quite an security incident as domain ownership can change to malicious party.

Microsoft.NET stuff was hosted on 3rd party azureedge.net domain which is now under Microsoft control. Yet check your workflows to use updated installers.

the pain of existence, beautiful captured
Ok I know nobody cares about this but me, but GOD I care:

1. I have just downloaded your app.
2. You want me to make an account. I don’t want to make an account!
3. When I enter my email, you inform me that I already have an account! This seems like a good thing, but I know it means only pain. 1/2

Out of all the work I've done on Syria I think this is my favourite. It includes a lot of digital detective work, Russia stupidly providing key evidence, and Forensic Architecture doing clever things with 3D models, all to ID one chemical weapon www.bellingcat.com/news/2020/04...

Musk's lawyers are objecting the transfer of InfoWars' X accounts to The Onion. Their claim is that X has “superior ownership” of all accounts on the platform.

That's right, Elon owns your account, its followers, subscribers, even your DMs. This is a very dangerous precedent.
