I'm thrilled to announce my new role as the Head of Enzyme Engineering at the innovative biotech startup Uluu (www.uluu.com.au), in Perth, Western Australia. I'm delighted to have the opportunity to support Uluu in making a step change in industrial biotechnology in Australia.

PFAS are generally regarded as concerning.
Identifying and engineering defluorinases to degrade them is difficult, partly because there are few HTP assays to track defluorination.

Here, we demonstrate a riboswitch based HTP assay for fluoride release - hope it helps!
