We work to end poverty and inequality for a just future for everyone, everywhere - because it’s possible 💚
As Oxfam, we participate in COP because we are seeing a clear link between rising inequality and climate change. As the super rich continue to profit from polluting our land and waters, we are the ones who ultimately pay the price. That isn't just unequal - it is unjust.

At Oxfam, we're focused on the injustice of poverty and inequality. And our work in the region has shown us one thing - rising inequality is being fuelled by the climate crisis. Our colleague Wini who is at #COP30 in Brazil shares why this is a priority for us, & what we're doing about it 💚

Every year, Oxfam in the Pacific is asked (justifiably) why we even go to COP. It's a fair question, one that our colleague, Wini, takes on.

But whether we're at COP or not - we're fighting for a climate just future where Pacific Islanders can thrive and not just survive 💚
