The emissions of the richest vastly outweigh the poorest. Every day the richest 0.1% emit 800kg of CO2, while the poorest 50% emit just 2kg.

For every #ElectricVehicle that contains about 3kg of cobalt mined in the Democratic Republic of Congo, Tesla makes around $3,150 in profit. The #DRC government receives less than $10 in royalties. And the average miner earns just $7.
