Bullshit

One has to wonder how much they got paid. Bet it’s more than you or I make

At that point in time, your credibility is shot. And you don’t get it back. There are physiological signs when somebody’s in distress and in that much pain, if you don’t have them, you’re not in 10 out of 10 pain.

But give them the tools they need to help you.

Take this log with you when you go to visit your doctor next time. I’m not saying doctors do this every time but even mine have glazed over when I’m talking to them. The pain log gives them a visual, helps them focus and helps them plan your care. Be proactive advocate for yourself.

Keep a pain log for two weeks before your next appointment.Do it at the time of day your pain is at its worst. Use your reference point. Do not try and go back and remember what your pain was like yesterday or the day before that never is successful. Memory is very tricky thing.

The point of reference is individual to you. Some people say at seven they’re crying. At five it’s hard to get up and move, at four they’ve lost their appetite. The secret is it’s individual to you and remains the same every time you use the one to 10 pain scale

And if you have family members that are on medications you need a copy or pictures of their medication bottles on your phone. Husbands and wives need to know what medication‘s they’re on When something happens and in an emergency our minds go blank so having that information can be very helpful.

Even if you have my chart. The first place the medics are gonna check is your phone for your identity, your emergency contacts, list of meds and any pertinent health information.
