This 2019 story feels relevant today. Did it end with the 737 Max—or was it policy? Cutting costs to near-minimum wage shouldn’t be priority over lives & safety.

📌 Boeing outsourced 737 Max software coding to $9/hour engineers, laying off in-house talent & subcontracting offshore to save money

The raw water discussions lack some history. I grew up drinking cold water from creeks in uninhabited, livestock-free mountains. It was safe until around 1990. Then, Giardia was introduced into western mountains by people carrying the parasite from Russia. There is no longer any safe wild water. 1/2

Here’s something to think about as you kick off 2025: ✨We are all stardust.✨

Every atom of oxygen in our lungs, of carbon in our muscles, of calcium in our bones, of iron in our blood—was created inside a star before Earth was born.

On 16 December 1944 the German counter offensive in the Ardennes, better known as The Battle of the Bulge, began. 9 RTR's war diary notes that 5th & 6th Panzer Armies had counter-attacked and that "special emergency precautions" were being taken by 43rd (Wx) Div (of whom 34 Tk Bde were under comd).

Foxes are incredible creatures—playful, intelligent, and vital to our ecosystems. They deserve to thrive in the wild, free from fear and cruelty. 🦊

Killing them for sport is barbaric and senseless. Let’s protect their joy and beauty.
