Fierce winds drive off snow and ice from the peaks of Paine Grande in Patagonia's Torres del Paine National Park. There is a whole world of drama and grandeur to be found far above in the peaks of mountains, and especially so for Patagonia! Although the wind was screaming in my ears, it was a scene of serenity & breathtaking majesty as the Cuernos del Paine lit up in magnificent light. Light I had never witnessed in my years of exploring Patagonia. After several attempts over a period of 6 years, patience finally paid off. For an all too brief moment, Argentinian Patagonia's vast, breathtaking Perito Moreno glacier is dressed in the most beautiful light! Deep in the mountains, there is a world of untold beauty. It changes in matters of seconds, never to be repeated. Capture it, preserve it for eternity, share with those who haven't witnessed. Patagonia, Chile.
