Thanks for sharing. We have updated our results to include studies published through the year end, and have calculated a case fatality rate greater than the 67% we calculated in May. For H5N1 clade 2.3.4.4b in domestic cats, specifically, the CFR is closer to 90%.

This is one recent example of how devastating it can be to felines— this big cat sanctuary lost over half their population to H5N1 over the course of weeks. Just as dangerous to house cats as it is to their bigger cousins. amp.cnn.com/cnn/2024/12/...
