Mipmapping will be added in the next Blades update. Essentially this makes UI elements smoother and less jagged and should make text way easier to read.

There are now indicators for directional specials that show how to perform them. The burst indicator is also incorporated into this UI.

Finally got a good idea of what I want the world of Blades of Crossed Hearts to look / feel like, and I finally got a proper workflow for making new stages. Hoping I can add more soon and really start to flesh out the world. Here's a WIP

Thank you for the feedback @watburnt.bsky.social, I've swapped the colors as you suggested. I've also added a glow to the text to make it more inline with other menus in the game. Still not fully happy with the look but it's definitely getting there. Update will be live soon.

Just updated the library capsule for Blades of Crossed Hearts. The picture is drawn by a friend of mine (spadeinthedirt), and I genuinely think it's the coolest looking capsule here. Though I must admit Devil May Cry 5 gives it a run for its money.

On a more serious note: there are some pretty big updates recently. Speed of attacks is down to give hits a heavier feel, and Cyanide's teleport ability has had a few changes to make it feel better.

I have removed one frame from the start of Cyanide's idle animation. This will undoubtable be the most divisive change I will ever make to the game. I extend my gratitude to the affected families.
