Just realized I forgot to post this, but earlier this month I ran my third poplocke, this time a spookypoplocke for October! The format was ofc inspired by @phaun.bsky.social's girlypoplockes, and was run in a dedicated channel on his Discord. It was the biggest and best season yet, and so so fun.

Review by Charm Cochran Black Phone 2 (2025) Four stars, heart Watched 19 October 2025 "I really dug this. The highs are higher and the lows are lower than in the first film. They tried to take the fear in a different visceral direction this time and while it's not as scary to think about, it's *much* more terrifying in the moment. I found myself cringing away from the screen and looking through my fingers in a way I don't often do anymore. The expanded use of the super 8 is a highlight, as is Mason Thames's performance. While I think things ended up being a bit too easy for them in this installment, I'm absolutely down to go on a franchise journey with this cast."
