I love the idea of the #Cubs adding one or two SP at the deadline and bumping Ben Brown to the bullpen where his 2 pitch mix has a better shot at consistently succeeding. In the same way that adding a 3B strengthens the Cubs bench by adding Shaw to the bench, adding a SP or two can give pen a boost

The older I get, the more convinced I am that we should hard-cap net worth at $999,999,999 and give people a plaque that says "congratulations! You beat capitalism!" and 1) give people healthcare and 2) force the #Cubs to spend money in free agency.
