Trump and his acolytes are indeed going to take the US back in time - not to a period of greatness, but rather to the Dark Ages, when ignorance and prejudice (complete with witch hunting) prevailed, as they are today. Let us hope that the rest of the world will be resilient in resisting this.
The cancellation of Kimmel's show is straight-up government censorship. It is a witch hunt based on ignorance - lack of self-awareness (Shadow projection) and prejudice.
