Exactly this! "Is it canon?" is the wrong question. "It is good?" is more important. If you have a choice between sticking to canon/lore or making something fun/dramatic/challenging, go with the latter. It doesn't matter if it clashes with what a character said in an episode 20 years ago.

A lot of interesting stuff has been made by people who want to do Bond but don't have the rights (or the budget in some cases).

For us it was part of the warm up for bonfire night, and even in that role it was trumped by mischief night.

That's what's so miserable about this - not just that it's been so badly done, but that at some level we* all knew that this country now lacks the capability to take on any project more complex than an Ikea bookshelf.

Option 4 is to watch TV coverage in a language you don't speak. You get the commentators' excitement and the crowd noise but the annoying chat goes right past you.

"they are searching for a tutor to provide a comprehensive British cultural environment"... OK?
"In time, the family hope their son will be accepted at a top-flight school such as Eton" - oh, not *that* kind of comprehensive environment.

Hemel Hempstead - doubly annoying as this is a new town so they *chose* to put the station out of reach.

The follow-up question should always be "what will you drop to make space for it?" but never is.
The school day is not Maths, English and then four hours of sitting around. There's already a lot to cover and you can't add something without squeezing something else.
