Also I met a dog named Merlin who has one ear that stands up and the other one is floppy and it’s lucky he’s very shy and I can’t have pets because I wanted to take him home

Not terrible for my first attempt (gee where have I heard that) but I haven’t tasted them yet

Went outside! Saw an American bittern, a green heron, and a great blue heron - all the kinds that can be seen at the Union Bay Natural Area. Also a sapsucker, Cooper’s hawk, cedar waxwings, and more. Glorious day before the rains come.
