If you have time, head on out to a train station near you and maybe you’ll be lucky enough to see them. They just now left Qidu station.

Today marks the end of an era. These train cars (not the engine) are the last set left over from the first electric trains introduced in Taiwan, the EMU100, back in 1978. They’ve been out of service for a while. This will be their final journey on their way to Chaozhou to be scrapped.
