China have been killing the planet ever since... air pollution, water pollution, denuding the oceans, foisting PFAS on use for decades with cheap cookware, trinkets for Western consumers to dump in landfill, useless appliances etc.

But they are all distractions that sell newspapers and we can personally relate to... it challenges our identities and status... today...

But the EV versions are just fine(?), except for those who actually buy them... the boomers towing caravans, the tradies, the soccer moms trying to outdo other soccer mums in the school pickup game... just like social media, negative gearing or manners, there is no going back to the better days...

We can hand the planet on to our children as a livable, ongoing and more stable proposition, instead of a disaster with tipping points ready to fall and life diminishing rapidly. We can leave a legacy, not a time bomb. /end (or new beginning?)
