Alexa play “They (really) Don’t Care About Us” by Michael Jackson.

I’m just flabbergasted every time I open any news. How does this make a shred of sense. Fuck Texas and especially FUCK Greg Abbott.

If the last few years have taught me anything - it’s that I can’t afford to give any official benefit of the doubt. One way or the other they find a way to disappoint. With enough money and enough power and the right platform - any of these spineless people will throw any person(s) under the bus.

Started reading again. Decided to shift focus from real life events to more fiction. Opened this gem and I am now 14 chapters in, thoroughly engrossed. Great for my fellow mystery thriller/horror fans. ❤️

Ian’s wife here (@mslejeune.bsky.social), to inform you all that I was the one to give him this information: Trump sitting on a piss pad during an interview with Fox.

Howdy Bluesky! It’s strange I don’t feel the same compulsive need to check in here as I did “the other place”.

But if y’all know me from there, or follow me now, let me introduce you to one of my side hobbies: book nook/diy kits. Enjoy the tiny dinosaurs. 🦕 More to come.

We await the day, lol. This is the first time I’ve seen anything about it.

So the Misses and I got pizza from our favorite local spot tonight, and it’s just the fuckin’ best. I got my fave, which is their ‘Greek’ specialty pizza; gyro meat, feta cheese, spinach, onions, tomatoes, and I sub the olives with banana peppers. 12/10 my 🍃 self is so happy right now.

Careful who’s following y’all - they’re following LGBT+ and progressive accounts. Conveniently no posts and their replies/media are hidden (this was prior to me blocking).

Don’t feed them. Silence them.

I didn’t look very long but this Dino at Ohio State came up when I searched for the state dinosaur. Meet the Cryolophosaurus, found in Antarctica ~seven years ago (according to the website).

Okay more states because I’ve lived in a lot of places.

Ohio’s state fossil is this toothy dude, the Dunkleosteus.

I couldn’t find an “official” state dinosaur (I’m sure not all recognize them and that’s okay you’re allowed to be boring).

However, I did find the Hypsibema being one of the discoveries in the state. Funnily enough, these were my favorite as a kid.

I mean LOOK at that face. 🥺❤️

For North Carolina, our state fossil is the tooth of a Chachorodon Megalodon. 🦈

Yes, those huge monster sharks.

I just learned state fossils were a thing and as a kid who OBSESSED over dinosaurs - I had to find Maryland (and North Carolina since that’s technically my home state).

It’s an Ecphora Gardnerae - an extinct type of snail. And its name is Wilson. Look how neat.

Started journaling again recently - helps me start my day and I’ve been neglecting my cute stickers and pens.

Here’s a Worry Tree - helpful for spiraling thoughts. I know we have some hard days ahead, but we can only control so much at a time. Protect your peace. Remember to breathe. We got this. 💙
