this is now how toon roll 2 look on the new engine Toonroll 2 now is being developed in #stride game engine it's a c# game engine that is built using c# it has better 3d performance than godot because it didn't perform well in my benchmark laptop less than 30 fps

Optimization is a problem in #godot especially in game size and other parts when I used #defold for some 2d games I found it way faster and just let you worry less in terms of performance and resource use but the problem I had is 3d support making a game like this in defold is way to hard for me

i just made dying better instead of instant respawn there is a fade in animation that play #ToonRoll #gamedev

what i did since demo release:
- ui rework for better ui look
- performance work increasing performance by about 5%
- decrease resource usage for the game in my machine by 8% just some simple tweaking and removing unnecessary effects
