I spent a few hours at Walthamstow Wetlands a few days ago and one of the kingfishers was very kind and allowed me to get this photo.

I got well and truly scolded by a Verdin (a tiny bird only weighing about 0.25 oz and 4.5 inches long) when I let the hummingbird feeders on my home office window run dry - the Verdin likes sugar water too!
