Yeah, the "silver bullet" refers to stainless steel.
As has been mentioned, you can just have a silver-jacketed bullet, or even silver-cored, depending on how you want to interpret how the werewolves/silver thing works.
Though it'd be really funny if "Silvered" actually meant Chromium

I don't think it controversial to say that Life Figure drawing would be much more interesting for all participants if we gave the models weapons.
