Now, let’s be clear: I very much like the model, it’s the only one from QuX I’m likely to get, but the issues are a major letdown given the generally superlative quality we’ve come to expect from the last few years of gunpla.

Went to my local Gamestop because the last time I was there they had a RG Hi-Nu in stock. Sadly it was sold but they DID have Xavier's Gyan from GQuX and I was happy to get that instead because it's hands down the greatest glow-up of any MS I've seen in the franchise

Not sure how you’d take to BattleTech: on the one hand they keep all the actual mechanical bits under armour panels, but on the other modern art direction loves panel lines (it’s actually a reduction from the old art, which went obscene with lines), on the other OTHER hand, they’re nice and blocky.

Finished Romel’s Grimoire Red Beret, a fun variation on one of my favourite Gundam grunt units.
I love how the Grimoire’s head has the monoeye, but then also has those adorable extra round eyes underneath.
Plus, this version has got roller skates and the gun is made of smaller guns!
Ridiculous 🥰

I’ve collected a rather sizeable #battletech collection in the last year but this remains my favourite lance.
Locust 1V, Centurion AL, Wolverine 6M, & Thunderbolt 5S.
Every mech has a weapon shared with another member, everyone but the Locust is tough as nails, only 4115 BV.

I like the smaller Kapool and how the size change turns an amphibious MS balanced on the point between menace and goofy (much like other Zeon swimming suits) into a Friend Shaped Little Guy you love to cheer for.

I mention this because in the UC especially where colonies are only so big, I'd expect Dutch levels of bike riding.

Just realized there's no official version of the Marauder that swaps out the AC with a LRM launcher.
Seems like a natural fit, adding range and damage from the underperforming AC5 while only losing shots per ton of ammo.
