Only problem with Photoshop 2023 is you still have to pay Adobe their monthly fee, and they'll keep nagging you to upgrade. IIRC Photoshop CS5 or 6 was the last one you could "buy" outright, and that was somewhere back around 2018-2019.

GIMP is free, and cross-platform (Mac, Windows, Linux). You'll run into a learning curve, but that's going to be the case with just about any other photo/graphics program out there. The latest version, 3, has some improvements over version 2, and some non-improvements.

Over on Threads someone replied to this that Oregon banned anyone who participated in a government shutdown from running again, and I love THAT idea! That could be far better. Lose their term income and banned from ever running again!

I had to do that too. I was eventually able to get in, but the service is blocked again. Also I can't get to my account to change my screen name from the ever-so-helpful "USER10280" (or something like that).
