Over on Threads someone replied to this that Oregon banned anyone who participated in a government shutdown from running again, and I love THAT idea! That could be far better. Lose their term income and banned from ever running again!

We need a bill to ensure each and every member of Congress, the Senate, and the president lose their income for their entire term any time a government shutdown is triggered. Share if you agree!
