This is a great time to remind everyone that you should in fact, still be calling MasterCard, Visa, Stripe, and other payment processors to annoy the shit out of them.

Because I'll tell you right now, that shitheel? Not gonna have to worry about them accepting payment.

and hey on the topic of ID laws

do you really trust Bluesky, whose admin and c-suites physically cannot stop themselves from posting-through-it, to be able to hold onto your fucking govt ID and not leak it in a data breach like Discord?

these policies suck, they are dangerous, call your reps

Ireland has its own Online Safety Code currently under deliberation, however, as with all the other online ID verification bills going around right now, this one is vague and full of dangerous assumptions.

read about it below and contact your representatives about it!

App reviews of 1 star over mass censorship issues feels like a very proportional response. The dream of these people is to make a “sellable” product out of Bluesky, and if you want to reduce that potential value, mass app reviews with filled out critical comments is the way to go.
actions that will contribute more to pushing against bluesky's censorship than a blackout:

-submitting a feedback request
-@ing moderation about it
-commenting on mods posts about it
-making and sharing memes (ex: "i consent!" sticker)
-leaving an app store review
-just generally posting about it

you know who might?

the affected pornographers and sex workers who can more than ever use eyes and shares on their work, as well as all of us giving mass feedback about why the new ToS sucks

There absolutely have been MASSIVE TOS updates

Most notably:

1) Specifying no FICTIONAL noncon
2) No "dangerous" kink
3) No DISCUSSING self harm, suicide, or substance abuse unless its "educational"

So what can we DO about it?
