New K1 Max is here and I've got it set up with the upgraded components. It does have a couple of relatively simple to fix hardware-related issues I need to address. The bed is far from flat and the X axis has a buzz / resonance. Both are fixable, but I'll do that tomorrow.

Repaired my original K1 Max. Repairs went smoothly: Installed the hot end, connected all the wires to the new board, made sure the little heatsink fan was pointed the correct direction, screwed the board in place, replaced the nozzle, ran hotend PID and input shaper, and now it's good to go!

I've decided that I need a better secondary printer to meet my shop demands. The SV08 doesn't produce good enough results despite sinking hours into calibrations. I've ordered another K1 Max with some upgrade parts for it (on credit). Despite its flaws, it still outputs fantastic print quality.

Had a catastrophic print failure on my K1 Max. Silly me for trusting a brand new cold plate to keep a very large, flat item from warping during an overnight print. Plastic took out the hotend and ripped a cable connector off the hotend board. $101 spent on replacement parts.

My K1 Max's extruder suffered a broken bearing on a gear during an overnight print, preventing it from extruding due to lack of torque / gear slippage. I've ordered Creality's new DXC extruder for it which should perform better and have fewer issues...ideally.

I have recently stopped YouTube/Twitch streaming because I simply wasn't enjoying it anymore. As of Sept 1, I started to spend more time working, primarily doing studies on Prolific, in order to help pay down the debts I've been accruing for the past several years and increase my available cash.

Got my replacement SV08 toolhead. Took basically everything off of it to reuse the old parts and installed it. After a bit of calibration, the machine's back up and working well thus far. I've got lots of spare parts now, too.

In the end, the representative was able to cancel the order, provide a $10 promo code, and I was able to place a new order that it SAYS will arrive TODAY. Let's hope that's the case.

Just been informed by another Walmart rep through a chat that my copy of Mario Kart World was damaged prior to shipping and that they're working to get it to me...in 7 to 10 business days.

Remember the other day when I said that a Walmart Customer Support representative told me my Mario Kart World order was arriving on the 10th? It didn't. They also said they'd ping another department to update my order information. It never happened. VERY upset about all this.

New SV08 hotend arrived only for me to discover there was more damage than originally thought. Appears there's some issues with the extruder gears. I've decided to replace the whole toolhead and will swap in the current electronics, hotend, and the Eddy probe. This way I'll have spare parts.

Welp, my SV08 with brand new Microswiss hotend suffered a catastrophic print failure overnight. My fault for not watching it. Got up to a huge blob of plastic around the extruder, toolhead cover flung to the floor. I've had to order a replacement hotend due to an unfixable clog.

My preorder for Mario Kart World through Walmart has not shipped despite saying it'll arrive June 5th. Another game in the same order shipped and arrived just fine.
I placed the order on May 12. They shouldn't have marked the order as arriving on the 5th if they didn't have the stock to fulfill it.

Been continuing to tune my Sovol SV08 with upgraded hotend. Fixed its stringing by increasing retraction speed. Now trying to solve poor overhang quality. May need to print a better cover / air duct as slicer-side tricks haven't done much.

My SV08 was starting to have poorer quality prints, so I got a Microswiss hotend along with a CHT nozzle. After doing a bunch of calibrations and adding print features I've been meaning to add for a while (like KAMP purge and smart park), it's print quality has significantly improved!

Recently found the root cause of my BTT Eddy connection issues on my K1 Max. A wire has come out of the connector. Put in a different wire and glued the cables to the connectors to prevent this from happening, fixing the issues entirely.

I was fortunately able to preorder a Switch 2 (console-only) along with the S2 Pro Controller through Walmart. I also put in a preorder for DK: Bananza. For launch, I have had an Amazon preorder for Rune Factory: Guardians of Azuma.

I am of course looking at making 3D printed items compatible with the Switch 2. Whether or not my existing Switch items will be compatible is still TBD. Looking like the carts are the same size, though. If the cases are different, I will try to get the tray designs done ASAP after launch.

Bought a few games today at the Virginia Beach Antique Mall's game store. They'll be used for making new storage trays and displays for my shops.

Well, this is certainly a thing. Designed this the other day. It's an N64 controller pak storage tray. Have variations for 5, 10 (5x2), and 15 (5x3) with extra spacing between columns. I'll be listing it soon.

My goal of adding at least one listing per day to my eBay and Etsy shops is going well thus far. I have listings for the next week ready to go, with an additional two more weeks of design ideas to model, print, and photograph.

Recently designed a new game cartridge storage tray variation with rounded "cloud" walls. One of my goals going forward is to add a new listing to my eBay and Etsy shops daily, so listings for each cartridge type are releasing day by day.
