Yeah that's the one part of the report I do take issue with, and I left the coaching part out in my mini rant. Maybe the coahes are actually frustrated by how conservative he's being. Well, you made him play that way, and reinforced it half a million times. Can't have your cake and eat it too.

They don't really need to like each other to win the Super Bowl. The offense last year wasn't running off "power of friendship" vibes either. Will they be able to turn it on in the playoffs again like they did last year? Clearly they think so. I wish we didn't have to guess.

Bottom line: They can (and probably will) keep winning games like this, and they will not be incentivized to change until they stop. It's not how I would want the most expensive offense in the league to run, but they don't care what I want (for good reason).

If I were a skill player whose next (and maybe final) big contract depended on Hurts letting it rip a little bit, I'd be frustrated too. If I were a lineman who had to block all day while he turned down tight but available throwing lanes, I'd be frustrated too. It's not really hard to believe.

Jalen seems to have taken the turnover prevention emphasis to an extreme. They're a great team that will win most games by leaning on the defense and letting the other team give them opportunities. Whether or not that is the most practical or efficient way to win games does not move him.
