My family and I took a roadtrip to DC for the Stand Up For Science rally. My son used to come with us to protests before COVID, and I felt like it was important to include him.

He’s affected by these issues, too. Our coming move out of the states, due to these issues, directly affects him.

This very specific tree that I used to pass on walks is one of my favorites.
Large weeping tree of some kind, overgrown and hiding an unseen house behind it. A two lane street is in the foreground, showing that it’s a quiet residential setting. The tree isn’t isolated. It’s spring, so green is everywhere.
