There's more to explore here.
And Dunjungle, also a roguelike (in Dead Cells style), and just as happened with DC when I tried it, the same has happen to me with this new one. I like 2D platformers and I like roguelikes, but apparently not so much 2D roguelikes. A couple of hours with several runs are enough for me.

While I'm playing Metroid Prime 4 (enyoying it a lot so far), I wanted to combine it with a couple of recent roguelikes. The first is Cloverpit, which I just unlocked the secret ending for, and lthough it's not as good as Balatro, it still has its charm and is addictive as well.

My intention with Age of Imprisonment was to enjoy the lore and just get through the "Musou". I more than achieved the 1st (more so at the beginning than middle and end), but the 2nd pleasantly surprised me, so that I want to complete it 100%, as the combat is truly dynamic and rewarding.

Well, another MV finished in two afternoons. Constance doesn't aim to be the new HK or revolutionize the genre. It's simple, with a small but well‑built map and solid combat and exploration. The mental health message isn't as impactful as in other titles, but it works and remains important.

A couple of years ago, I played Before Your Eyes, one of the most impactful experiences I've ever had with games, so I couldn't pass up Goodnight Universe. It's more fantastic and interactive than the impact and drama offered by the first one, but it also has soul, and I did cry at the end.

The ones I think will end up being officially nominated: Expedition 33, Silksong, Hades 2, Death Stranding 2, Donkey Kong: Bananza, and Split Fiction.

For me, even with only half of its content, it's already this year's GOTY. Yes, above Silksong, Expedition 33 or Hades 2, which are masterpieces.

Obviously, the quality of a game is not measured in terms of GOTY, which are simply some type of awards. But it's also obvious how important they have become in the industry, and I believe that something as perfect as Deltarune should be recognised as such, despite being episodic.

Wow...all I can say is that I hope there are more seasons because this is a true work of art and totally revolutionary in its genre. A rollercoaster of emotions, the dynamics of ‘dispatching’ have left me wanting much more, the art is flawless, the cast is wonderful, etc. And there's Beef.

Finally, after so many years, I can play Super Mario Galaxy 2. I beat the first one on the Wii, but I couldn't do it with the sequel. Of course now I want to get 100% completion, because it deserves it. Amusing, original, soulful, creative, delightful. A legendary game by merit.

I'm not much into survival horrors, but I wanted to try one of the most acclaimed in recent years. And boy I got hooked. Signalis is superb; its haunting atmosphere and pixelated suspense pull you in. Combat is rough, but part of its charm. I didn’t understand it, but I loved the narrative.

I finish the Little Nightmares saga with the 3rd installment. I knew about the mixed reviews and... I get it. It feels more like an “LN-inspired game” than a true sequel. I don’t mind the spin-off approach, but it lacks polish and impact. It has potential, but doesn’t fully come together.

Continuing the Little Nightmares saga, the sequel is a clear leap in terms of visual atmosphere and level of detail, making it even richer and more tense. It still stumbles at times, but continues to work very well as a short, fully immersive "nightmare". The overarching story is alluring.

Hades II (epilogue completed, not 100%) is objectively more and better than the original, yet it hasn't impacted me as much. I think that's mostly due to the narrative, both overall and per character. It has magical moments, but doesn't shine as brightly as the 1st. Still, it's terrific.

With the launch of the 3rd and taking advantage of the season, it was time to play the Little Nightmares saga. The first one (DLC included) is a good introduction, and I'd highlight, of course, the atmosphere. I found some of the stealth sections a bit clunky and improveable.

And yes...SILKSONG. A masterpiece in every sense, the 7 years of dev were very well worth it. Pharloom and its inhabitants captivated me like Hallownest did, and Hornet completely won me over. The map is magical, the bosses are spectacular, and the artwork is among the best I've ever seen.
