Never, ever been a Chicago Bears fan, but I personally think it would be cool if the team got its first star QB in Caleb Williams.

It's a shame that the NFL is working together with the so-called "Mr. Beast". I can't stand that guy who so blatantly makes a living out of exploiting the needs of others, if there's ever a real life Squid Game he'd be the one starting it.

Aplausos.

I really, really, really hate hot takes in sports. But I'm afraid I have one: Anthony Richardson should be declared a mistake of the Colts organization and they should once again start looking for a franchise QB.

No matter how unfair was the punishment against Piastri (I mean, people seem to complain George got away with something similar before), it's a bit cheeky of him to ask for a positions swap with Bland-o 😋

(Last post about Oasis for today)

And about the setlist... It's almost what I would've asked for. I would have just taken out Bring It On Down, Half the World Away and maybe Talk Tonight, to replace them with Rockin' Chair, Columbia and Stop Crying Your Heart Out. No need to bring back 2003-2009.

Today's setlist is just evidence #731 that Noel Gallagher should have left the B-sides from 1994 to 1997 for another LP. That way, Oasis could've have had three masterpiece albums, not just 2. Good to know that they've admitted that implicitly in their comeback.

Can't wait until September.

Oasis review – band go big on the first two albums with little left to chance
Principality Stadium, Cardiff Liam is on his best behaviour for a singalong show that serves as reminder of how fantastic band were during purple period * Brothers in arms: Noel and Liam reunite on the Oasis reunion tour – in pictures * ‘Liam hasn’t sounded that good since the 90s’: fans react to the first night of the Oasis reunion tour The noise from the audience when Oasis arrive onstage for their first reunion gig is deafening. You might have expected a voluble response. This is, after all, a crowd so partisan that, in between the support acts, cheer the promotional videos – the tour’s accompanying brand deals seem to involve not just the obviously Oasis-adjacent sportswear brand Adidas, but the more imponderable Land Rover Discovery. Even so, the noise they make as the reconsituted Oasis launch into Hello takes you slightly aback, and not just because Hello is a fairly ballsy choice of opener: this is, after all, a song that borrows heavily from Hello! Hello! I’m Back Again by Gary Glitter. But no one in Cardiff’s Principality Stadium seems to care about the song’s genesis – the noise is such that you struggle to think of another artist that has received such a vociferous reception. So, the success of the show seems more-or-less like a foregone conclusion. Anyone who saw them in the 00s will tell you the latter-day Oasis were a hugely variable proposition live: you never knew what mood Liam Gallagher would show up in, or how the current state of filial relations might affect their performance. But evidently as little as possible has been left to chance at these reunion gigs. No one – including, to their immense credit, Liam and Noel Gallagher – seems interested in pretending this tour is anything other than a hugely lucrative cash-grab, and clearly you only grab the maximum possible cash if the tour does not descend into the kind of bedlam to which Oasis tours were once prone. So Liam is on his best behaviour – “thanks for putting up with us”, he offers at one juncture, “I know we’re hard work”, a noticeable shift from the days when he was wont to rain abuse on the audience. Apropos the return of Oasis, I think they sounded great today. But one of the things that grinds my gears in social media is how many people prefer to talk about what they hate, instead of what they love. And I know I'm guilty of the same sin, complaining about complainers 😋 but anyways...

As a lover of all Swedish things, as a fan of the Djurgården Hockey Club and as a follower of the NHL, having two players from Djurgården go in the first round of the NHL draft (Anton Frondell, 3 to Chicago and Victor Eklund, 16 to NY Islanders) means that this was a nice day.

Yes, I know getting as many fouls called on your favor as SGA does is a skill. But you can't convince me it's a cool one.

And to be honest, I'm going to remember this season more for the Pacers.

But anyways, congrats to OKC. Whether we like how it went down or not, I can't say it was undeserved.

Sheesh, Shai did a whole Irish dance after he stopped dribbling that ball and before making his shot. Fundamentals are a thing of the past in the NBA 🙄

This Oilers - Panters series is going to spoil me as a still somewhat new ice hockey fan. Just the third Stanley Cup Finals I follow, and for the rest of my life I'm going to expect games of this level.

There, I've always said it. If you let AI and the internet in general do your job and feed you with information you don't make the effort to process and learn: not good. "If you don't use it you lose it" applies to your brain too. It's been known since Socrates' time.

We're offloading mental tasks to AI. It could be making us stupid
Whether we lose some of the skills artificial intelligence performs for us largely depends on how we use this tech

(Pardon my French but) I see Big Balls trending, as well as NBA Finals. It seems everybody's talking about Tyrese Haliburton.

What. A. Game.

I STILL don't wanna say I'm an Oilers fan, even if I'm still a "noob" to ice hockey it's way too easy to get on the bandwagon of the best player in the world, right? But... I'm definitely with them on this one. I love to see generational greatness crowned. Few things are as inspiring.

If you don't follow cycling closely just like me, it will seem like Isaac del Toro came out of nowhere to lead the Giro d'Italia. Couldn't be more proud of and inspired by my fellow countryman, regardless of the final result this Sunday 🇲🇽🚴👊

I've never liked Anthony Edwards because he goes around and talks like he's THE guy, when he actually hasn't proven it. I've been willing to change my mind if he proved me wrong (and still am). But today, after this poor performance, I like him even less. He better stay humble.
