i’m now 80% sure that it’s a kernel issue, thank god someone else reported it back in august, and the patch has been merged
the funniest thing of it all, it’s that if that was really the cause, only updating the kernel would’ve been the solution, sadly i didn’t thought of doing that earlier 😭😭

it turns out this might be a chromium + hw driver issue that brings down the whole graphical environment?? ridiculous stuff
