I'd give 10:1 odds he's a manager for his dad's commercial landscape company.

But, crucially, they were just standing on the brakes. Watch the taxi's wheels and you can see they're pumping the brakes or giving it a little gas trying to get purchase.

Yeah that tracks, it's hardly separated from precarity as is. You'd have to triple or quadruple the current h2a wages to put it in competition with other 'No diploma but willing to have a real bad time for a paycheck' jobs in like oil/fisheries/whatever.

This might be what you're talking about, but more than studied it, we straight up tried to implement it. Hundreds quit after a single day and more than half by the end of the summer, those who stuck it out were still not very good at it. Lasted one season.

When The U.S. Government Tried To Replace Migrant Farmworkers With High Schoolers
In 1964, a program that brought migrant Mexican laborers to the U.S. ended. So the U.S. recruited American students to pick crops instead. When they saw their living conditions, strikes ensued.

Depends on what you like. I think most people agree the story is nothing special but the systems are more polarizing than bad. They're old school clunky in a way but a lot of people love them. And it's great fun co-op.

This was ingrained so deeply in my brain that I had forgotten it until this moment, but I was still replying to my dog with 'hey. Hey. hey! hey, ' all the time.

Some small firms are in favor, but any company with actual power to affect discourse would fight it (many did and continue to). There's a reason dozens of unions endorsed medicare for all while zero fortune 500 CEOs did.

The issue with that is every company would fight tooth and nail against that messaging. If you're not beholden to them for Healthcare you might do something rash, like quit if you're mistreated. Or develop class solidarity

It's the only good thing zuck has done. I was inspired to check the local. 3d printed 2 meter droideka, pasta roller from the Distant Past, and that's the ren fest pickle stand trying to unload their remaining product.

All of his vegetarian books are good. Any given recipe will probably require a trip to the grocery store and at least an hour but you'll pick up a thing or two you can use in apply more regularly. Plus I need pictures or I'll forget about the book, and they have good pictures
