This evening’s Northern Lights with Bray in the distance.

My phone app hasn’t asked for it though my ipad did & now this is happening:

Not my real birth date but what happens since yesterday when I try to look @support.bsky.team on my iPad. Happens also with my actual date but didn’t want to share that. Everything is fine on my phone so far.

Not saying it’s cold this evening but the Older Feline Gentleman has his nose a hairs breadth away from the piping hot radiator.

When it feels like you’re the last person in the world who’s awake. Happy birthday, Me.

It’s the older feline gentleman’s birthday & he’s 15 today.

This beautiful boy came into the rather upmarket hotel I was in recently. He lives in the grounds & occasionally greets guests. The man at the next table was appalled & said I should be too. Guess who I spoke to for the few minutes til the bar manager gently ushered him (cat not man) out?

I don’t live that near a farm but #StormDarragh brought me an empty bag this morning. Perfect Christmas stocking?

I woke up to this.

The sweetest thing: older cat has much loved teddy since he was a kitten. He’s spent the last ten minutes miaowing for teddy & now that he’s found him, he’s brought teddy up to bed. The joyous miaows as they climbed the stairs together to settle in for the night makes my heart soar.

He doesn’t love this bed & will choose a patch of sunlight on the floor tiles before he’ll use it. Tucking it away under the stairs was met with only slight interest. This morning though, when the app says it feels like -8 outside due to windchill, he’s all snuggled in. #CatCosy

Sore throat, stuffy nose, achy. Test for Covid says no. Almost feels good to have an old fashioned seasonal winter cold. Almost. Cat supportive.
