On the staff shelf in the library yesterday (librarians are the best readers!). As mentioned previously, I no longer traumatise myself for entertainment in any medium, but I'm on for someone called "the Queen of cosy crime in Japan". Nothing like snuggling up to a warm murder mystery.

Anybody else like to sit on the top of their stairs to ponder life, the universe and everything? I got the habit when I was a kid and never lost it. (Probably why I was called "Big Ears". Seemed to know everything that was going on in my large family. Guess I heard a lot. Writer in training.)

I ❤️ #BaiJingting as prince in #NewLifeBegins, wasn't that impressed with #FirstFrost (storyline meh) but he's carrying the amazing sci fi series #Mobius as sole star along with great supporting cast. A cop who solves crimes via time loops. Love a show that assumes audience intelligence.

#RTE our so-called public broadcaster were a disgrace throughout the election campaign. Death by a thousand cuts with their negative framing for Connolly coverage e.g. Humphreys "defends", Connolly "accused" & today's latest: the one negative comment in this supposedly neutral report.

Seems the American-style attack video against Connolly backfired. I suspect a lot of undecideds are in that 8% increase. The healthy cynicism of the Irish resists political & media manipulation & we prefer a clean fight. #Irishelection #Irishpresident

You cannot beat the Irish for hilarious political satire. Ancient Ireland actually had a subclass of poets called "satirists". And it was understood that words can maim & kill. (For non-Irish the man in the hedge is government candidate for President who had to drop out due to scandal.)

On a different note, I tend to deplore the skinny pretty boy current trend in Cdramas & opt for more manly MLs, but this guy is seriously out-of-this-world beautiful. Photographs can't do him justice. #LoveintheClouds
