It really makes me worry about my prospects for the future. Will I ever find someone that I genuinely won't just annoy and have stick around out of obligation? What if I never do?

Few things sting more than finding out the people you care about have been discussing you in a negative light when you aren't around. It's not wrong of them, hell they're perfectly in the right to discuss their issues, I just wish more than anything I could stop being one of them. I try so, so hard.
