A giddy-headed afternoon man
I heard on the old radio that folks should spend money on experiences instead of stuff because the happiness from experiences lasts longer.

Those fools have never bought a Turbo Granny to hang on their rearview mirror.

My hot take is such arguments are special pleading/begging the question bs.

Most people do not have an understanding of what "intelligence" is in such contexts, and those who have thought about it do not have definitions that would work in such an argument.

Basically, I think Nvidia will stabilize around where it is at or a little below its valuation. So cashing out now is probably as good as it will get with what we know.

AMD is strong and if Intel can get its shit together, it's a perfect stock to invest in and get massive returns

I see we're at this stage of Democratic Party trying to save face.

"You got to work within the Democratic Party system!"

Fuck off. 10 years into this nightmare iteration, and nothing was done while things became worse.

Also, our gov supports and abates at least two genocides now.

With this post, I'm signaling how discerning and wise I am. Must be due to my fluffy void-meow cat!

Personal ratings are a reflection on the value a person gives to a work.
That's it.
The idea that there is some objective aesthetic that should compel a reader to love a work is dumb.
The idea that empathy should compel you to rate a work highly is dumb.
It's other us v. Them nonsense as well

There are few things more annoying than someone who takes their love of dogs, makes it their whole personality and then everyone's problem.

Anyway, look at this cute meow cat who cuteily stole my work chair very meowily!

Like, it's good if you have so little engagement with Christianity in general and evangelism in particular that you only have a vague idea of what eschatological views they hold.

But maybe don't make shit up.

What's neat about having a subscription to The Economist is I can check folks' reactions to their articles and determine if they are engaging with the article or just the title.

Katelyn here engages the article honestly and succinctly and will therefore get a Quick of Approval

Don't tell me what to do! That subscription money is going to purchase anime figurines and 40K miniatures!

This Caturday, Quick chooses violence

Beware the siren call of liberal nationalism, oh white folks!

You do not have to "hand it to" agents that represent and champion hateful, destructive ideologies. The focus should be on building a better world, not finding common cause with those that led us here.

Those are Quick's favorite! The Internet is wise

Quick the Cat is going to try to appear here more often on #Caturday, so knock off your pelagianist heresies!

Without downloading any new images (implying you can download old images), where are you mentally?

Quick the Cat is ready to throw down with the minders! I must return to squash this feline revolt!

Thanks to comic books doing comic book things, I can say Ms Marvel!

Today's rant is about overgeneralizations. In this case, I'd like to focus on "most" in the below post. Where are we getting "most" instead of "many"? Was there some study where a group of coffee avoiders, magic users and aggresively evangelizing folks are considered "normal"?

Quick was not impressed
