It's a real disservice that most of the protagonists in these 40K books are basically secular liberals lol. By the way if you want to read good more novels, the first two vault of terra books are great

Yes exactly, the monsters are obstacles in the level, fighting them isn't the primary goal. It's something so rare in shooters but you see in some games like dark souls or Metroid type games
