It was a rare opportunity to show how effectively the JW Walker organ can accompany the Anglican Choral repertoire.

A memorable day at Bridgewater Hall playing for the The OU degree ceremonies. It’s inspiring watching graduates cross the stage, plus many interesting honorary recipients over the years. Today it was absolutely wonderful to see Anna Lapwood MBE added to this number, receiving an Honorary Doctorate.

A few highly productive hours spent at the organ of Norwich Cathedral last night preparing for today’s concert which starts in just over an hour at 1:10pm. There’s something very special about being alone (well almost) in such a large building with so much history and filling it with sound…

Last Saturday I played the organ concert marking the completion of the refurbishment of the organ of St Bart's Penn. Daly Organs have done a fabulous job turning a clunky action into something which feels musical under the hands and feet. The large audience of over 200 made for a lovely atmosphere.

Lovely to work with Joanna Forbes L’Estrange today at @sellyparksingers.co.uk ’Come and Sing’ performing ‘A Season to Sing’, Joanna’s reimagining of Vivaldi’s Four Seasons. Having directed SPS performing this in June, it was fun to play it today!

A morning getting my fingers around all of the notes in ‘A Season to Sing’ - Joanna Forbes L’Estrange’s reimagining of Vivaldi’s Four Seasons. If you sing, love Vivaldi and are in the Midlands you should come and sing, there are a few places left.
