I was out leafleting the neighborhood near this store and came upon a Jehova's Witness who told me they were neutral. I had to tell her that neutrality in the face of oppression is siding with the oppressor.

At the #Women'sDayofAction in Whakatu/Nelson earlier today there was this chump with a huge Israeli flag, so I took my giant Workers First Union flag and blocked him out of all the photos while telling him that genocide is not a Jewish value. He had to go higher up the church steps to get away. 😅

While political violence is abhorrent, I'm neither terribly surprised by Kirk's killing, nor terribly upset. He was a horrid human being with awful views. He should not be praised and lionized for his work of sewing division and hatred. If his killer is never caught, I'll sleep just fine.
