Update of #PEF to improve how bio-based materials/products are assessed & compared is a positive step, but we call to explore & acknowledge assessment methods other than #LCA that properly consider externalities.

Proposals to grant unlimited approvals, ignore the latest science in risk assessments, or extend grace periods for banned substances would mark a serious step backward for public health and the environment. These ideas must be reconsidered.
